Era Pajajaran
In the year 1488, the area now known as the Bandung was the capital of the Kingdom of Padjadjaran. But from ancient archeological discoveries, we know that the city was home to Australopithecus, Java Man. This change provides a big impact on the city. The town hall was built at the north end of Braga to accommodate the new government, separate from the original system of society. This is then followed by the development of a much larger when the military headquarters was moved from Batavia to Bandung around 1920. The place chosen was in the eastern part of City Hall, and in which there is a residence for the Commander of the war, offices, barracks, and the armory.
